SCT '61

Silcox, Pembroke Dock 86, HAP985, was a Bristol KSW6G built in July 1953 with ECW H32/28R bodywork purchased in May 1969.
New as Brighton, Hove & District 6447, it became 447 in the renumbering of April 1955, retaining that number on passing to Southdown as withdrawn stock in January 1969.
The bus is happily well-known from preservation from February 1979 but only one later Silcox photo is on SCT61. It's interesting to see it awaiting further stage carriage duties, it soon took us to Pembroke during a Welsh public transport tour, arrival earlier was on the "Cleddau King" ferry from Neyland to Hobbs Point nearby after overnight B&B in Milford Haven.
By coincidence, one of the group's top photographers was at the garage on the outskirts of Pembroke Dock four days later, and his shots are also very enjoyable.
