Sheffield 222 had the dubious honour of operating the last public service car on the final day of tram operation, seen about to enter Tinsley depot. Note the distant PD2 which I think was acting as a "sweeper" for those not able to board the (very) full tram.
I boarded it at Millhouses and spent the entire journey with my head out of the front lower window (as seen). Soon after this shot, there was a mad scramble to take "souvenirs" from it. My pathetic effort was a light bulb which didn't last very long after I managed to get it home by train to Leeds.
