From an official Plaxton photograph, a view of Sheffield United Tours, Sheffield 286, 3286WB, an A.E.C. MU3RV Reliance which had the first Panorama body.
It seated C36F, and was delivered in January 1958. This design had an outward opening hinged door and the body was based on the Consort II, but with fewer, and longer, side windows. There was a small window immediately following the entrance door, with an equivalent one on the offside. Named 'Panorama Pioneer', it was the first of six, the only ones built to this design, which were delivered between January and May 1958. In April 1958 3286WB went on to be the overall winner at the British Coach Rally at Brighton.
