Here's an interior view of preserved ex-Silver Star Atlantean 1013MW to show the layout at the rear of the upper deck.
Whilst most describe it as semi-lowbridge, I think it's worth saying that it differs fundamentally in one respect from the conventional use of the word lowbridge, in that it does not have a sunken gangway - rather, it has a raised floor area at the rear upstairs. Hence on the top deck, the gangway is on the same level throughout and there is no step up to the majority of the seats. It is only at the rear that the last few rows of seats are on a plinth. Downstairs the ceiling is raised over the rear axle area, but with a lower ceiling section on the nearside.
If I can find my lower deck interior shot I'll post it here!
