Sadly, not all preserved Southdown buses have survived. This one was particularly low-profile, even though I saw more of it than most because it was kept for a while at our premises in Greenfield. 793, RUF193, was a Leyland Titan PD2/12 with an East Lancs H31/28RD body and, as I apparently saw it in my bus-spotting days I suspect it was based at the western end of Southdown's territory.
It is seen at the start of the 1975 Ribble Enthusiasts' Club Southport to Blackpool run alongside West Riding 995, the ex-County Guy Wulfrunian. It was not fully restored in this view and I'm not sure it ever was. It seems to have been scrapped a few years later, although I recall it being in quite good condition.
