122, JN 3822, joined the fleet in 1934 the only trolleybus ever to have been built by the Gloucester Railway Carriage & Wagon Co. It was exhibited at the 1933 Commercial Motor Show and then hired to Southend for 12 months before being bought by Southend in December 1934.The centre entrance 54 seat highbridge body was also by GRCW and the complete vehicle, which cost 950, was known as a 'Gloster'. 122 was to last until 1950 when sadly it went to the breaker.
