Red Rover took a liking to former City of Nottingham Transport vehicles in the mid-1970s. DAU369C was one of five 1965 full height Weymann H40/30F bodied AEC 3B3RA Renowns, which moved from Nottingham to Aylesbury and served Red Rover well.
In this May 1977 picture, taken in Aylesbury, it had been with Red Rover almost a year and was still in use in October 1982 at least. It started its second life in Red Rover traditional livery, as shown. As another picture will show, it was later painted in a different style, which appears to be inspired by that applied by Nottingham to its Leyland National GAU727L - also acquired by Red Rover.
