GMT 6406, DTC415E, a 1967 Leyland PD3/4/East Lancs H41/32F formerly Ramsbottom 6.
Following the construction of a turning circle at Ainsworth, Bury depot went more or less completely OPO and the Ramsbottom PD3s, which had moved to Bury when the Ramsbottom depot closed not long after the establishment of SELNEC, became spare. One or two spent their last year or so at Queens Road on peak-hour work. Specially made blinds were fitted, and although I suspect the list of destinations on them was fairly short, it was unusual to see buses on Manchester depot routes with combined number/destination display.
