Ribble Motors, 705, SCK870, a Leyland Leopard with Duple Continental Body, built 1962. As far as I know, Ribble only bought six of these numbered 701 to 706, all fitted with Toilet and Refreshment Servery.
This picture is on the overspill to the bus station. Preston had buses from all over the UK during the summer months. Note the three wheeler in the background also made in Preston and we had the first roll on roll off ferry port in Britain and we had the first Kentucky Fried chicken store in Britain, not everything happens down South.
