Rare bird by 1973, Ribble 1978, MCK371 was new to the independent Scout, Preston company in January 1959 as 25. December 1961 saw Scout retained as a separate subsidiary by new owner Ribble, and the Leyland Titan PD3/1 with Burlingham H41/31F body became S25 until full absorption in October 1968.
Here summer duties has taken it far from original haunts, on front line service on the X43. Withdrawn in February 1975, it's the only one of the batch of three to see further service at Lloyd of Bagillt, where it lasted past its 22nd birthday to be sold for scrap in June 1981.
