Standerwick 48, NRN610, a Leyland Atlantean PDR1/1 built in 1960 with Weymann CH34/16Ft bodywork.
Originally Ribble 1261, these "Gay Hostess" coaches were quite a feature of Standerwick/Ribble. The Four in Hand café provided a break for travellers as well as a setdown or pickup point. A North Western Leopard/Alexander Y is being unloaded and the rear of OTA640G (Bristol RELH/ECW) in Royal Blue livery is visible. Two sisters may be anticipating the beach at Blackpool.
