When Ribble took over Bamber Bridge Motor Service in 1967 one of the vehicles retained for further service was 747EUS an Alexander bodied Albion Lowlander which was a former demonstrator. It was numbered 1968 in the Ribble fleet where it joined a batch of Lowlanders with unusual full front Alexander bodywork
The bus originally had a single line destinatition indicator but was given a standard Ribble layout shortly after acquisition.
