Behind is Halifax J.O.C. 377, BCP671, an AEC Regent III with Park Royal H33/26R body, new in 1950, and originally numbered 277 and in the background is West Yorkshire RCC SMG 26, 834BWY, a Bristol MW6G with ECW B45F body, new in 1963.
Skipton Bus Station on a rather miserable day in late 1967 towards the end of an enthusiasts' tour that had taken in Burnley, Colne and Nelson and Ezra Laycock's, using Halifax 377 about a year before it was sold into preservation.
Pennine also had a similar secondhand ex-Ribble Royal Tiger (ECK610). LWY702 differed by not having the usual heavily recessed windscreen of the Ribble version. The chassis type has also been quoted as PSU1/17.
