City of Oxford 19, 436GAC, was a Leyland PSU3/3R Leopard with a Duple Northern Alpine Continental C49F body.
When new as Stratford Blue 59 in 1963 it had a glazed front dome and a standard inward opening front hinged coach door. In September 1969 it was renumbered 55 and in 1970 was converted for one-man operation, fitted with the roof mounted destination box and a slightly recessed pivoted entrance door. It passed to Midland Red in December 1970, was numbered 2055 and was withdrawn in November 1972 being sold to City of Oxford as MR10 in February 1973 and was then renumbered 19 later the same month.
Withdrawn by City of Oxford in April 1975 it passed to Twell (dealer), Ingham in July 1975. In this photograph it is seen in Semley Place as it approaches Victoria Coach Station.
