Clynnog & Trevor Motors PWL413, an AEC Regent III 9613A with Weymann lowbridge body, new to City of Oxford Motor Services (L166) in 1950 and acquired by C&TM in 1965.
Only recently acquired by C&TM at the time, it still bore a disguised COMS livery. Later it was repainted into the 'proper' livery. A most wonderful and classic vehicle, with superb sound effects. On subsequent holidays to the area throughout the 1960's and 1970's I always watched out for this one.
It survived a surprisingly long time, and I always felt that it deserved preservation, and thank goodness after a lengthy wait it is now magnificently restored and resident at the Oxford Bus Museum.
