WVA453 was one of a pair of AEC Reliance 2MU3RAs with Willowbrook B45F bodywork which had been new to Irvine (Golden Eagle Coaches) of Salsburgh in May 1960 and were acquired by OK Motor Services in March 1965.
After withdrawal in December 1971, 453 passed to Chiltern Queens of Woodcote who operated it until May 1977; it was scrapped in 1981. Sister vehicle 454 was withdrawn by OK nine months earlier and spent the rest of its life in North Yorkshire, initially with Primrose Valley of Filey.
WVH453 is pictured in the sunshine alongside OK's Bishop Auckland depot.
