Seen in Bishop Auckland is O.K. Motor Services, Bishop Auckland HJX979F, an A.E.C. 6U2R Reliance with a Willowbrook DP49F body which had been new in June 1968 as Hebble, Halifax 79.
It was then re-numbered to 579 in 1970 before passing to Yorkshire Woollen District, Dewsbury in April 1971 as number 302, being renumbered to 273 in November 1971.
Having passed to North (dealer), Sherburn in February 1975 it was acquired by O.K. in October 1975 but did not enter service until July 1977. It was withdrawn in September 1981 and passed to A. Hedley (Tyres) Ltd., Birtley the same month. In March 1982 it passed to Hunter, Seaton Delaval as fleet number 54, being withdrawn by February 1983.
