Not quite what it seems. North Western 240, JDB240E, was a Leyland PSU3/4R Leopard with Alexander C49F body new in 1967.
It's body was scrapped and chassis rebuilt by Independent Coachways of Horsforth, Leeds and sent to Plaxtons for rebodying as a special order for an horse box for Colin Hooton of Scarcroft, Leeds. Re-registered NUM215V, it is seen here in rebodied state after delivery from Plaxtons.
