Northern General Routemasters laying over close to Worswick Street Bus Station, Newcastle.
The identity of the one to the front left of the picture is unrecorded. In the centre is 3085, RCN701, originally numbered 2101 when new in 1964. It was the first Routemaster to be repainted into NBC poppy red livery, and passed to LT in 1980. After a period operating in Guernsey, it returned to the UK mainland, being reregistered and it is believed to still exist. To the far left is a rear view of 3108, FPT594C. Note how all the cab and passenger doors have been left open - something that would result in serious disciplinary action at the very least in present times.
