The modern era does not have a monopoly on unfortunate advertising liveries. Seen in Hartlepool in 1972 is Northern General Leyland Atlantean 2139, MUP139D, a 1966 example with Alexander bodywork advertising (if thats the word) a local DIY shop The driver smiling in the corner is the late Harry Hayworth who drove many enthusiasts specials from Leeds in the late sixties and early seventies.
