Northern General 1829, YPT829, a Leyland Titan PD3/4 with Metro-Cammell H41/32R body, new in 1958.
With Newcastle's Worswick Street Bus Station in the background, and a cocky bunch of likely lads taking the mickey, former bus 1829 - in its final role as a driver training bus - prepares to depart. The instructor would no doubt have a few hairy moments coming to him in the ensuing session, and his voice would probably be soon hoarse from bawling out instructions through the open cab rear window over the din of the mighty 0600. I know only too well - I've been there, done that !
