Bedford SB8 Duple Super Vega Coach in duo-green and cream seen leaving Norfolk's old Bus Depot in Mill Street Nayland Suffolk on its way to be restored near Chelmsford, believed to be WUU553.
Norfolk's Buses operated from Nayland from 1868 to the early 1990's when the business was taken over by Hedingham Omnibuses. For more information see "Norfolks Nayland Pictorial history of Britains Oldest Independent bus operator". There are still two old Austin coaches awaiting restoration in the old depot - the owner lives in Sydney Australia.
Despite being laid up for many years the Bedford was started up and driven up to a low loader a half mile further up the village street.
