Merthyr Tydfil 128, EO8896, seen at the garage, was one of ten Leyland PD2/3s with Park Royal H30/26R bodies which had been new to Barrow Corporation in 1949.
They were acquired in October 1961, entered service in January 1962 and were withdrawn between 1966 and 1968 with 128 being the last to be withdrawn, having been rebuilt in June 1966.
