Found in a box of miscellaneous slides in the collection of the late John Boylett was this shot of GC12195, the registration of which which dates from July/August 1958. The 'SP' plate indicates that the vehicle was plying for hire still in Midland Red livery. It was operated by "Transportes Sardina-Doctoral", owned by J. Dominguez Melian, Sardina Cruce who ran a service from Sardina to Doctoral, its Midland Red identity being unknown according to P.S.V. Circle publication O43R2.
In 1956 A.P.J.G. (Association Patronal de Jardineras Guagas), whose livery was blue/cream, had bought thirteen B.M.M.O. S.O.S. SLR vehicles which were then registered between GC 9616 and GC 9830. These had been from the 1937 deliveries registered CHA 950-999. This one would appear to be another from the same batch.
