The BMMO answer to the London Routemaster was the D9 which started to come off the production lines in significant numbers from 1960 onwards. Seen outside the main office block (behind the photographer) is 4929, 929KHA, fresh out of the factory and awaiting delivery to Kidderminster Depot where she was destined to remain for the next five years. A similar period at Banbury followed with shorter stays at Digbeth and Hereford before withdrawal came in 1973.
