Manchester Corporation Leyland Panther PSUR1/1R 87, GND87E, with MCW B40D bodywork, new in 1967. Note the coin-in-slot symbol for one-man operation (as it then was called) using turnstiles and Autoslot machines.
The cream and red livery was unique to these Panthers. The first of the double-deck Mancunians delivered the following year were initially painted in a similar livery, but the cream on those was quickly changed to white, whereas the Panthers retained the cream until their first repaint.
