Manchester 24, NNB124, Leyland PSU1/13 with Northern Counties B33C body in Piccadilly Bus Station.
When Manchester needed some new single deck vehicles in the early 1950s they ordered three different body configurations - front, rear and centre entrance. 24 was one of the two centre entance examples with a standee area in the entrance vestibule, in this case for 24 standing passengers and entered service in October 1953. It was rebuilt to B41C in 1958 and then was sold in late 1966 for use as an airside bus at Manchester Airport.
