Fleetline varieties: McGill's Bus Service (l to r) AHS16B, VHS501 and CHS722C, all in typically immaculate condition, await their next duties.
AHS16B was a Daimler CRG6LX with Alexander H44/34F bodywork which was new in April 1964. It was withdrawn by 1980 and retained out of use until being scrapped in October 1986.
VHS501 was a Daimler CRG6LX with Northern Counties H43/33F bodywork which was licensed in December 1962, delivered in January 1963 and which entered service in March 1963. The first of fourteen Fleetlines owned by McGill and the only one not bodied by Alexander, it was withdrawn by March 1982, it was retained out of use until being scrapped in October 1986.
CHS722C was one of three Daimler CRG6LXs with Alexander H44/34F bodywork which were new in April 1965. It was also out of service by March 1982 and retained until being scrapped in October 1986.
