Ex-Middlesbrough Corporation Dennis Loline MkI/Northern Counties, JDC 599, fleet no. 99 new in 1958 and ex-Tees-Side Municipal Transport Daimler Fleetline JDC544L new in 1973 which carried fleet no. L544.
Pictured outside the American Pavillion at Duxford Showbus 1998, the Dennis had just been adjudged 'Best preserved Dennis'. It was it's first public outing in twenty one years, following a four year rebuild by The 500 Group and was exhibited on the fortieth anniversary of its appearance at the Earls Court Motor Show in 1958. Both buses were built to a low height of 13'5" to pass under Albert Road Railway Bridge in Middlesbrough. The Loline was the only one built with Northern Counties body and Cave Brown Cave heating.
