One time Midland General semi-automatic Bristol FLF 309, TRB576F, spent over 30 years as a mobile pizza parlour in the north of England before moving across the water to Dublin in 2014. Now owned by Bryce Odgers and trading as the ‘Eco Bus Café’, it provided me with a welcome place for a food break and reminded me of student days during the late 1970s in Nottingham, where it was a regular sight.
