Trent/Midland General 265HNU, a Bristol MW6G with ECW DP43F body, new to Midland General as 267. Behind is Trent 687, 526 VRB, a Bristol FLF6B with ECW H38/32F body, new in 1962 as Mansfield District 511.
The former Balfour Beatty companies were a little confusing at the time. As I understand it the Mansfield District company had been taken over by East Midland but their vehicles were still carrying Mansfield District livery. The Midland General company had been taken over by Trent, who had quickly applied NBC poppy red livery to much of the fleet, some displaying Trent fleetnames, some still displayed Midland General, some were in Midland General blue but applied in the NBC style, whilst some still remained in traditional Midland General blue and cream, or MGO/MDT cream and black coach livery.
