Lytham St Annes 34, BTB928, a 1936 Leyland Lion LT7c with Leyland 34 seat body.
The small c after the model number indicates that this bus had a torque converter gearbox which was Leyland's solution for semi automatic gear change, hence the legend gearless bus on the radiator. Many muncipal operators bought vehicles with this as it made the bus easier to drive for former tram drivers although it tended to push up fuel consumption.
