Make of body on Lincolnshire vehiclesFrom: Malcolm Woods Mon 12 Jan 2009 17:54
Hello. I have 2 photos of Lincolnshire vehicles that I would like to identify the make of bodywork on. The vehicles are 1. Leyland Tiger Fleet No.425, FW7098 and 2. Bedford OB Fleet No.23, BFE875?. Grateful if you can help. Best regards Malcolm.

I believe the OB has a Rainforth of Lincoln bodywork

Believe this is a Duple body (centre entrance, new as a coach)

I think BFE 875 was the only vehicle rebodied by Rainforth. The chassis was a Bedford OWB new in November 1942 to Gelsthorpe of Branston with a Mulliner utility body; Rainforth rebodied it for LRCC in March 1949
