Liverpool rebuilt a number of their earlier Leyland Atlanteans to dual door layout at the end of the nineteen sixties. L864, FKF864E, was delivered in 1967 with a single entrance MCW body. In 1969 it was one of 50 buses converted by Pennine Coachcraft to enable the spread of one man operation.

It is seen in its new form wearing PTE livery as it leaves the Pier Head for the suburb of Belle Vale.
