6219TF a Northern Counties bodied Guy Arab V 6LW was new in 11/63 to Lancashire United as fleetnumber 135 and restored to a very high standard by Yorkshire Heritage by 2014 and will presumably be for sale shortly.
It was part of a batch numbered 120-35 and the last rear-entranced bus bought by LU. After withdrawal from passenger service in 1976, 6215/6/7/9TF were transferred to driver-training duties at Atherton being renumbered TV1-4 respectively. GMPTE took control of LU in 1976, but LU continued to operate as an independent subsidiary until 1981 and 6219TF was then repainted into white/orange GM training livery. It passed into preservation shortly afterwards and was kept at St. Helens Transport Museum and restored to its original red/cream band guise as fleetnumber 135, before being bought by Yorkshire Heritage about 2008.
Yorkshire Heritage also acquired 6216TF, but this was later reported sold on to a preservationist in Carnforth.
