London Transport green Country Area AEC Reliance / Willowbrook front entrance, centre exit, one man operated RW2, 496ALH, allocated to Hemel Hempstead (HH). One of three, RW1-3 (495-497 ALH) they were new in 1960 and in 1963 were sold to Chesterfield Corporation where they lasted for 14 years, Chesterfield's livery also being green. The AEC Regent behind is RT4189, LYF248, on route 301 to Aylesbury and being allocated to Tring (TG).
RW1 was scrapped in 1978. RW2 is thought to be in preservation. RW3 passed to Shaftesbury & District and Brutonian and has been beautifully restored to original condition and is often seen at rallies and running days. Interesting vehicles.
