London Country Bus Service RT979, JXN7, an AEC Regent III 0961 with Weymann H30/26R body. New to London Transport's Country Bus Department in 1948 and originally allocated to Hertford Garage, its original body had a roof route number box.
Passing to the NBC's London Country Bus Service in 1970, it was by then on its third body (type RT8/1) and allocated to Windsor Garage. Withdrawn in 1972, it passed via the dealer PVS at Canvey Island to Bedlington & District for use on miners' works services, and was sold for scrap by 1975.
