London Transport RM81, VLT81, an AEC Routemaster R2RH with Park Royal H36/28R body, new in 1959. Classified 4/5RM5/4 by LT.
Latterly a 'showbus' it was withdrawn in 1985 and sold in early 1986 to Clydeside Scottish (281) who re-registered it LDS335A in 1990. Sold to P.V.S. (dealer), Carlton in 1990 it passed to East Yorkshire MS (813). In 1995 it passed to Transport Resources International, Rugby, who converted it to open-top and exported it to Madeira where it was bought by Cabriolet Cars of Funchal, registered 29-67-MD, and converted to offside entrance.
