London Transport RF374, MXX16 (nominally), an AEC Regal IV 9821LT with Metro-Cammell B41F body, new in 1952. Forming part of LT class 2RF2 this one seems to have escaped any form of modification throughout its life.
It is seen here in 1970 whilst on loan to the recently formed London Country Bus Service. It was withdrawn in March 1971.
Of course RF374, MXX16, was what it was by the time the photo was taken, though it most likely started out with a different identity altogether, as I notice that the preserved example RF395, MXX283, did at some time masquerade as RF374, MXX16. It's a veritable minefield trying to quote LT bus identities !
