Gleeson (contractor) MXX372, a Guy Special NVLLP with ECW B26F body, new in 1954 to London Transport as GS72.
Whilst with LT it had been loaned to Great Yarmouth Corporation during 1958/59. Withdrawn in 1963 it is recorded (in Ian's Bus Stop) as having been sold to Corvedale Motors of Ludlow, passing to Arlington (dealer) in 1965, and to Kirk & Kirk (contractor) the same month, and withdrawn and scrapped by them in 1967. Yet here it was, photographed by me whilst owned by Gleeson's and being used for staff transport during the extension of Northowram Hospital in 1968 !
