Preserved ex-London Transport 1253, EXV253, a Leyland LPTB70 with Leyland H40/30R body, new in March 1939
EXV253 had been lent by the LT Museum, Covent Graden, and had not carried passengers since it was withdrawn in 1961 or been driven under it's own power until this event.
