Still attractive in original National white coach livery is Lincolnshire 1404 (ex 2822), WVL515 a Bristol RELH6G with ECW C47F body new in July 1964 awaiting duties in central Cleethorpes.
Long life was due to later conversion as mobile travel office, see here. It surrendered its registration to a Leyland Tiger in January 1988, becoming BFW523B immediately prior to demise.
Prior to any bus REs, Lincolnshire took eight C47F on coach chassis 2819-22/2678-81 with traditional registations right from the the first sanction (source PSV Circle 2CXB410), though half fall into the grey area within the dual purpose discussion elsewhere on the group. 2678-81 originally in coach livery (later 1425-32) were all DP47F in Ian Allan fleetlists with bus destination indicators and leaf doors - a specification nominally similar to the well-known "DP47F" of the era at Eastern National and in West Yorkshire's ERG series.
Returning to the photo, partially visible is the rear of Grimsby-Cleethorpes 24, NJV999. the final AEC Reliance of a 1960 quartet with Willowbrook B42D bodies.
