Lockey's, St. Helen Auckland JXN371, a Leyland 7RT with Park Royal H30/26R body, nominally new to London Transport as RTL48 in 1949 with a Park Royal RT3/1 body.
Passing through Aldenham Works in 1956 the RTL43 that emerged was fitted with the present RT8/2 body but was withdrawn in 1958 and sold to Bird's Commercial Motors (dealer), Stratford-upon-Avon, then passing to Lockey's. Sold by them to a local preservationist in 1973, it then passed to various others for the same purpose, and was last recorded by the 'Countrybus' website as with the London Bus Co. in 2008, still in a black livery.
