Leigh ran an all lowbridge fleet until 1958 when the first Lolines were purchased. The last lowbridge machines were delivered in 1962, a pair of Leyland Titan PD3A/1s with East Lancs L34/32R bodies. The former 37, 779YTB, is seen in GMTPTE days having been renumbered 6937 in the PTE series.
The bus is seen leaving the Leigh depot - the tight clearance between bus and door frame can readily be seen, one of the reasons for the lowbridge fleet
