Samuel Ledgard GUY3 was the ex-demonstrator Arab UF with a Guy (Park Royal frame) B40F body dating from 1950. It was exhibited at the 1950 Earls Court Show.
This bus was famous for being Guy's prototype underfloor engined bus originally fitted with a 6LW engine but soon converted into a 6HLW engine. It was purchased by Kitchin & Son, Pudsey and transferred to Ledgard in 1957 on the acquisition of their stage carriage routes. In 1963 it was repanelled and reseated to B42F and had its original body mouldings removed (see John Kaye's 1957 photo).
