Leeds 901, 1901NW, one of the first batch of 8’ wide AEC Regent Vs, new in 1958, seen in Leeds Central Bus Station operating to Half Mile Lane on a rare incursion. Leeds had a ban on its own 8’ wide vehicles using the bus station but other operators ran such vehicles without problems. The roadways were wide enough but pulling into and out of stands was more difficult.
Carriageway repairs are in progress on the adjacent Platform ‘B’.
