Leeds works car 6 is seen in Sovereign Street alongside Swinegate Depot. This had been acquired in July 1945, from Hull, where it was number 96, It was used as a snow plough until February 1949, then as a works car and was fitted with rail grinding equipment in 1954.
Withdrawn in November 1959 it had the distinction of being the last tram to run on the streets of Leeds, being towed from Sovereign Street yard to Swinegate Depot on 8th December 1959. It was subsequently acquired by the Leeds Transport Historical Society and was moved to the Heaton Park Museum in Manchester.
