Feltham 506 having left the terminus at Halton has just descended the Halton Hill reservation on Selby Road and, after passing under the railway bridge, will join York Road and the route from Crossgates to go to central Leeds. 506 will continue as a 26 Circular to Middleton via Belle Isle and then return to Crossgates whilst the tram from Crossgates will run as a 12 Circular reaching Middleton before returning via Belle Isle to Halton.
The Felthams, which had entered service in London in 1930/1, were 40' 6" long at a time when four wheel motor buses were initially restricted to a length of 25' 0", later 26' 0".
