Leeds City Transport 452, MUG452, was an AEC Regent III with a very smart Roe H31/25R body of 1949.
These buses had large windows, giving excellent visibility for passengers (dating from a forward-thinking design by General Manager, Vane Morland in 1937). This batch was also notable for being the first buses fitted with the distinctive waist rail fitted to the lower deck only, which would become a feature of Roe bodies for years to come.
