Seen at the Stainbeck Lane terminus of the Chapeltown route, actually in Chapel Allerton, is Leeds 262, one of the Middleton bogie trams built in 1935, which entered service on 1st March.
It had a Brush 40/30 body on Maley & Taunton swing-link bogies, last ran in service on 19th December 1956, and was burned in Low Fields Road Permanent Way Yard on 28th September 1957.
